So excited to see something new & green arriving in the basement garden center. Less than 5 days ago I planted lettuce and cat grass. Seed packages say germination in 10-15 days so I was excited to see such quick growth! Just have to wait for lettuce to get true leaves and a bit bigger before I can transplant so they aren't competing for small amount of soil. Will be a happy day for me when we are eating a dinner salad that we picked from our basement garden! lol
